THE CHANGING OF THE GUARD

Join me at one of London’s most historic and colourful pieces of pageantry. The Guard at Buckingham Palace changes daily in the Summer – known officially as ‘Guard Mounting’ –  and while 45 minutes of pomp and ceremony unfolds in front of you, I’ll explain the history of the ceremony and its form and share with you the unique characteristics of each of the seven different regiments that take turns to form the Guard. My commentary will enhance your experience of this very British occasion and help it linger in your memory.
